Hi there, Great tips by the way and thank you. I did have a question though.
Iām hoping you can answer it for me since you seem to be pretty knowledgeable
about gardening. How can I make a raised-bed vegetable garden (lots of land, economical, deer)?
If you had some insight I would greatly appreciate it.
Hi there thanks for your question, well there is not really too much economical nowadays but depending on your location and access to materials you might have some logs in your yard that you can re use for your beds (cedar would be ideal), otherwise you need to buy timbers, cedar planks or masonry products, as for deer all you can literally do is fence the area but have found that most damage to vegetable gardens come from rabbits, moles and small critters, so after installing the fence you might have to invest in some type of barrier for moles and ground hogs, we have found that digging a trench about a foot deep 2-3′ wide and then install metal mesh in an “L” shape attached to the fence has stopped most animal to access the garden, hope this helps you some
